3 rd GENERATION

EXPANSION OF THE WINE-GROWING ESTATE AND TECHNICAL INSTALLATION

April 14, 1935, birth of my father Jacques Dufourg.

Gradually he took over the family estate and expanded to 40 hectares, the area of "Haut-Baraillot" and "Marchand".

March 6, 1965, Jacques and Colette Dufourg Fauries married.

In family continuity, he remained at the wine cooperative of Romagne. However the 1970's marked the beginning of independent wine estate. And in 1968, he created a winery and performed his first winemaking in 1969, awards followed...

His innovative spirit led him to equip its own bottling chain, he built a fully equipped stainless steel tanks chai. To meet the demand of its customers, it does not hesitate to invest in a thermovinification system (round, fruity, delicious ...), now regularly used processes.

1986 marks the acquisition of Château VERMONT in Targon. He replanted the entire area in vineyards is 40 hectares, completely drained, he implanted an amphitheater around the castle.

The 3 areas: High Baraillot, Marchand and Vermont represent 80 hectares, vinified on one site to Marchand.
