BUSINESS EXPANSION AND QUALITY

After specialized studies in viticulture, oenology and marketing of wines and spirits, Elisabeth returns to the family property. She handles the administrative and commercial management.

On 9 August 1997, David and Elisabeth LABAT marry this occasion VERMONT the chapel is called Saint-Jacques in tribute to his father.

In 2010, they resume Homestead VERMONT. David, very involved in the wine, having himself studied in this specific environment, with professional experience in a large house of Bordeaux Trading, provides technical knowledge, 5 years of enology and business momentum.

In 2011, they implement major renovations VERMONT. A new winery, storage and offices are emerging, linked to investments in modern equipment to enhance quality.

Elizabeth David and implement their visions. Thus, they are restructuring by increasing the density per hectare, replant vines white with a choice of suitable plants and rootstocks, which grant an aromatic complexity. They identify the parcel by placing, which develop red wines, rosé and white wines. They opt for the passage of the property in Bordeaux Supérieur appellation. A will and means are implemented for development of sales at the property and for export.

The story was revived VERMONT: roses are among the best references of the AOC (BETTANE Guide). Our great vintage is back in the top 15 of the best Bordeaux Supérieur (Gault & Millau).

To date, Elisabeth & David VERMONT manage the property, with the aim to restore its credentials old, it is already listed in the 3rd edition of Féret in 1874.
